PLASTIC is a new periodical photo publication in zine format crafted in Athens by photographer George Striftaris, looking to create a secret, invisible network connecting those willing to see beyond the obvious or the accidental, the stuffiness and false seriousness. He aims to produce one or even two issues a year, with respect for nudity, beauty and diversity.

The word PLASTIC derives from the Greek πλαστικός (plastikos) meaning "malleable”. In this instance, it is an adjective, not a noun, and signifies that which is capable of shifting its form without breaking.
A ZINE (/ziːn/ ZEEN; short for magazine or fanzine) is a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images.
